Space Awareness Widget#

Space Awareness has two display modes.

  • Current-Space apps shows applications with windows on the current Space for that display. Configure Icon spacing, the Left click action (Move Window to Front or Minimize / Restore), Dim minimized apps, and the Hidden apps list. Right-click an app in the widget to Hide from this widget, or choose Unhide all.
  • Space indicator shows the current Space as dots or a number such as 3 / 5, chosen with Indicator style. Dots switch to a number when you have more than seven Spaces.

Add Space Awareness from the widget library and choose the mode in Display. Accessibility can be required for complete window and application information in Current-Space apps mode.

This widget is not the same as a dock's own screen or Space visibility. Screen assignment is configured in Screens; the widget only presents Space-aware application content inside the dock.
