App Settings#

ExtraDock 5 uses a sidebar-based Settings window. Open it with ⌘,, with ExtraDock Settings in the menu bar menu, or with the gear button at the bottom of the Manager sidebar.

• General — Startup, app presentation, updates, native Dock behavior, appearance, and error reporting.
• Behavior — Defaults and behavior shared across docks.

Personalization#

• New Docks — Defaults used when you create a dock.
• Icon Library — Imported custom icons.

Features#

• Previews — Window Preview behavior and appearance.

System#

• Permissions — Permission status and guidance.
• Backup — Export, import, daily backups, and V4 migration.
• Integrations — Talk connections to other Appit apps such as DockFlow, AI assistant access, and Stripe.

Account#

• License — Activation, update coverage, and license details.

Support#

• Diagnostics — Support exports and logs.
