Bluetooth Battery Widget#

Bluetooth Battery shows charge and connection information for supported keyboards, mice, headphones, and other accessories.

Permission#

When you first add the widget, ExtraDock can offer to enable Bluetooth access with Improve Bluetooth Battery Accuracy?. Granting access allows richer and more accurate readings. If you choose Not Now, the widget still uses basic data that macOS exposes when possible; the widget's settings offer Enable Bluetooth Access later.

Settings#

The widget opens its setup panel when you add it. Show chooses Connected only or Include offline devices; offline devices appear dimmed. Include devices with no battery, Maximum devices (1 to 12), and the Hidden devices list control which accessories appear; right-click a device in the dock to Hide from This Widget, and use Show All Devices to bring hidden ones back.

For AirPods and similar devices, Split AirPods into L / R / case shows each reported battery component separately. You can also configure the Layout (Icon + percent, Icon + bar, or Icon only), colors, Number size, Spacing, the Low battery below threshold, the Click action (Open Bluetooth settings, Refresh now, or Do nothing), and the Refresh rate (Fast, Normal, Relaxed, or Power Saver, from 30 seconds to 15 minutes). Devices that macOS does not report cannot be shown.
