IP Address Widget#

IP Address displays a network address in the dock and provides a quick copy action.

Add IP Address from the widget library. Mode shows the Public (internet) address (the default), the Local network address, or Both; for local addresses, pick one or more Local adapters, or leave none selected to use the primary active adapter. You can show or hide the address and icon, choose the Icon symbol, Font, and Text size, and turn on Selectable (copy) to select the text and use the Copy address button. ExtraDock checks local addresses every 30 seconds and the public address every five minutes; the editor does not include a refresh-rate setting.

Public address lookup requires internet access. A VPN, relay, proxy, or network change can alter the displayed public address. Local interfaces can appear or disappear as Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and virtual network adapters change.
