Link Widget#

The Link widget opens a web address from the dock. This is the V5 name for the URL widget concept used by ExtraDock 4.

Configure a link#

Link opens its setup panel when you add it. Enter the URL (https:// is added if you leave the scheme out), an optional Title, and whether to Show title under the icon. Icon source chooses the artwork: the Website icon, an SF Symbol with its own Icon color and Background, a Custom icon (URL), or a Custom icon (file) from your Mac or the icon library.

The Items list shows a per-instance subtitle, such as the destination host, so multiple Link widgets are easier to distinguish.

Treat links imported from another person as untrusted until you review their destinations.
