Finder Widget#

Finder behaves like the Finder icon in the native macOS Dock. A primary click raises or restores Finder and follows the selected dock's frontmost-app click behavior.

Add Finder from the widget library, then choose a location preset or custom path. ExtraDock uses that location when Finder needs to open a window. Use New Finder Window in the widget's context menu to open the configured location directly.

The widget also supports a running indicator and a custom icon.

For a dock item that exposes the contents of a folder instead, use Folder Stack and App Stack.
