License#

Manage your ExtraDock license key and activation status.

Open Settings (⚙) → License to access these settings.

Activating a license#

You can activate with a license key or, when available, a team email.

License key:

1. Choose License Key
2. Enter your license key
3. Click Activate License
4. ExtraDock verifies the key with the license server

Team activation:

1. Choose Team
2. Enter the team email address
3. Follow the activation flow shown in the app

After activation, the License page shows the current license details.

If the key has already been used on its allowed number of devices, ExtraDock shows Device Limit Reached with Force Activate and Open Device Management options.

Update coverage#

Your license covers versions released during its update period. ExtraDock reminds you 30 and 7 days before free updates end, and when a newer version is outside your coverage it offers Renew, Skip This Version, or Remind Me Later. If you install a version your license does not include, a recovery window offers to download your newest included version, Change Key, Refresh License, or Quit ExtraDock.

Recovering a license key#

If you no longer have your license key, use the ExtraDock license recovery page.

Refreshing a license#

Click Refresh License to check the stored license again.

Removing a license#

Click Remove Key, then confirm. This removes the key from this Mac and returns ExtraDock to the activation screen. It does not deactivate the device on the license server.
