1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the ExtraDock website and software. By purchasing, downloading, or using ExtraDock, you agree to these terms. Non-compliance means you should refrain from using the service.

2. Service Description

ExtraDock is a macOS productivity application that lets users create, manage, and customize multiple floating docks across their screens. The service includes software updates, feature improvements, and customer support based on the selected plan.

3. Plans and Licensing

Available Plans:

• Permanent License (one-time purchase): Permanent use of ExtraDock on the purchased number of macOS devices, including one year of new features, software updates, and support. When the update window ends, the app keeps working on every eligible version without another payment.
• Forever Edition: Permanent use of ExtraDock on up to five devices, including all future updates for life. This is a one-time purchase and not a subscription.
• Team and Bundle Licensing: Multi-device team licenses and cross-product bundle pricing are available on request — contact us for a quote.

Current pricing for all plans is listed on the pricing page. Licenses are non-transferable and intended for personal or business use by the purchaser.

Permanent ownership: ExtraDock is not a subscription. Ending an included update window does not end the license or disable an eligible installed version. Access to later updates may be offered as a separate extension without changing permanent ownership.

Update-policy cutoff: Purchases completed before 1 September 2026 at 00:00 (midnight) in the Europe/Sofia time zone (EEST, UTC+3) retain lifetime updates under the terms in effect when they were purchased. Standard Permanent License purchases completed at or after this cutoff include every ExtraDock update released during the 12 months following purchase. Forever Edition includes all future updates for life. For this cutoff, a purchase is completed when Stripe confirms successful payment. No action is required for customers whose purchases include lifetime updates.

Legacy One Year Licenses: These licenses continue under the terms supplied when they were purchased and expire on their existing dates. A legacy One Year License purchaser may request an upgrade to a permanent license within 31 calendar days of the original purchase by paying the difference to the then-current license price; after 31 days, the permanent license is charged at its full then-current price.

4. Payment and Taxes

Payments process securely through Stripe in euros (€) or U.S. dollars ($), depending on the pricing displayed for your location. Displayed prices exclude VAT, sales tax, and other applicable taxes. Tax might apply based on your location, and Stripe calculates and adds it at checkout. Users authorize ExtraDock to process payments via Stripe with accurate billing information.

5. Refund Policy

All purchases include a "14-day money-back guarantee" without requiring justification. Request refunds by contacting support@appitstudio.com within 14 days of purchase with order details. Refunds process to the original payment method.

6. License Delivery

Following successful payment, you receive an email containing your license key and activation instructions, enabling access to the full app version per your plan.

7. Updates and Support

• Standard Permanent License purchases completed at or after the 1 September 2026 cutoff receive updates and support for one year from purchase.
• Forever Edition includes all future updates for life.
• Access to later updates may be offered separately without changing permanent ownership of the app.
• Permanent licenses remain functional after their update windows end.
• Purchases completed before the cutoff retain lifetime updates under their original terms.

8. User Data and Privacy

ExtraDock processes account and purchase information, limited diagnostic data, and website usage, analytics, and attribution identifiers as described in the Privacy Policy. Optional website services are applied according to the visitor's privacy region and choices. You can review or change those choices through Privacy Choices in the website footer, and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each communication.

9. Intellectual Property

All ExtraDock content, features, functionality, code, design, and branding remain ExtraDock's intellectual property, protected by copyright and trademark laws. Reproduction, modification, distribution, or resale requires written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

ExtraDock and its owners disclaim liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages from service use or unavailability. The software is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Termination

ExtraDock reserves the right to suspend or terminate service access if users violate these terms or misuse licenses.

12. Amendments

ExtraDock may update these Terms periodically. Updates appear on the website with revision dates at the page top indicating the latest version.
